European Sales and Service Agent

To meet its international expansion objectives, CDS is seeking an independent, commission-only sales agent or agency that will represent and service (in-house or third party) its line of downstream extrusion machinery in Europe.

Prime responsibilities:
1. Build CDS’s market in Europe by developing relationships with extrusion processors.
2. Identify, qualify, and approach prospective CDS customers across the region.
3. Liaise with CDS headquarters to tackle new sales opportunities and develop sales quotes
4. Liaise with CDS in managing and coordinating all after-sales service requests (e.g., warranty repairs, part replacements, operational set-up)
5. Participate and help organize international trade shows
6. Create and manage channels of distribution with OEMs and resellers.
7. Provide timely feedback on assigned sales leads and outstanding quotations
8. Participate at Agent-CDS meetings

Targeted regions: U.K, Germany and eastern Europe.

Criteria:
·Strong product knowledge of extrusion machinery, processing, and extruded applications
·Strong understanding of the pipe, profile, and tube extrusion market
·Experience servicing (repair, parts replacements, operational startups) downstream extrusion machinery either through in house or third party personnel and technicians
·Proven record for delivering above-average sales performance
·Must represent suppliers who provide a value-added, complementary fit to CDS’s machinery

	Puller-Cutter combination unit for medical tubing. CDS has recently introduced a Puller-Cutter combination unit designed for extruded "non bump" medical tubing applications. Features of the unit shown (CCBVSK 2-2.5) include a 2” x 12” contact area with white neoprene non-marking poly-v belts, a vector and motor drive system for the Belt Puller, a servo motor and drive system for the Fly-knife cutter, a cutting capacity 0.0625” to 2.25” (O.D), and a user-friendly touch-screen operator interface. *The "ARC", Inline Multi-angle Saw* Whereas the traditional method for rendering angled edges on post-extruded profiles is to use a miter saw offline, CDS's ARC (Angled Repositioning Cuts) saw is used inline to create the same result. Read more.

	The ComboCooler When one of our customers needed a flexible and reliable cooling solution for their extruded application, CDS was there to help. Designed to cool rubber automotive seals, this specially designed unit incorporates a “hot” tank, with mixing valves that blend plant chilled water with hot water from a reservoir with four immersion heaters under the tank to maintain a controlled temperature. "Radius" Spray Cooling Tank Designed to process extruded rubber gaskets, this specially configured Spray Cooling Tank has an inside radius of 72 inches and is one of several downstream units making up a complete plastic extrusion line. Measuring 16 x 16 inches in cross section, this tank also features 4 corner stainless steel bars with quick change spray nozzles, a closed loop water recirculation system, and a high-speed air stripper compartment.
